Ameriha Mansion

This big house, covering 7.000 square meters and partly restored, belonged to a wealthy silk merchant. It dates back to the XVIII century even though it was already rebuilt for the first time after the 1779 earthquake. The residence consists of seven yards each one with a swimming pool. Each courtyard, connected to each other by corridors, has two Iwan, which in turn communicate with reception rooms (Talar). Each main Iwan contains a Shah-Neshin decorated with stucco and mirrors. Today one can visit the private part, where the family lives (Andaruni) and the public area of the house or reception room (Biruni) of Yusefi and Ebrahim Khalil-Khan. It is important to note that a steam room is present in each "apartment" of the house which is extremely rare for that time.
